For the Love of Stripes

I have always been a fan of stripes.  They can dress up anything with the snap of a finger, whether it be a pillow on solid couch or chair or as a pop of interest in your wardrobe.  Cannes is in full force and seeing all of the pictures of everyone in their Parisian Chicness, I couldn't stop thinking of the quintessential Parisian look of stripes.  Since Bastille Day is right around the corner (I have little French in me, so celebrations are in order!) I wanted to share some of my favorite stripes at the moment...

Love Love LOVE this from Mackenzie Horan.  It is so true, the little things can make all the difference.

While browsing on Etsy yesterday, I discovered Devon Baer.  How amazing is this tulip skirt?!  I'll take all three of these outfits please.

I don't know if y'all have gotten the "office environment" e-mail that has been circulating but it is absolutely adorable, hilarious, and true.  The two above are my favorites!

Off to enjoy my coffee and watch my new found favorite morning show, Good Morning America!  They get me a good mood first thing in the morning and I love them for it {as do my co-workers}.

I saw this one of my favorite blogs, The Doctor's Closet, a little while ago and adore it.  This week at work was hectic and fantastic at the same time - I am the weirdo that strives on stress.

Hoping for a weekend that is filled with this while celebrating my roommates going away...even though I will miss her terribly!!

Wishlist Wednesday

The other day I got an e-mail from Anthropologie declaring a spring sale spectacular.  Anthro is one my favorites stores but unfortunately there are none to be found in Savannah.  After scowering over the items that were on "super sale" as I like to call them {clearance just doesn't sound as nice},  I finally narrowed down my wish list.

Scarf, Scarf On the Wall

I have said it before and I will say it again, I need to give my bedroom a grown-up facelift.  Since, I am quite the procrastinator I haven't started a thing to change my drab bedroom. On the first adventure of "update Jennie's room" I am on the hunt for something new to hang above my bed.  If you remember,  that space is starring Audrey Hepburn via Breakfast at Tiffany's.  I love Audrey but she has been hanging there since I was 19 and in college, time for a change...

I found some inspiration while perusing on Pinterest (crazy, huh?) in the form of framed scarves, never ever would I have thought of that. 

Unfortunately all of these scarves are Hermes {I die}.  Luckily, Bloomingdale's has some more wallet friendly options.

I love the simplicity of the Kate Spade on top, but the bright colors and tigers would definitely bring some much needed contrast to my room.  Which one is your favorite?

Picnic Perfect

Last week, I went with some friends to Forsyth Park for Movie Night.  They played "The Goonies" one of my favorite movies ever.  It was an absoltely amazing night, but if I hadn't had the same hectic week and worked late that night - the evening might have looked a little like...
