Summer Summer Summertime

The weather changed and I became MIA on here.  I have been soaking up as much sun on the weekends as possibly and being lazy throughout the week.  I love summertime, it always goes by too fast.  I cannot believe that Fourth of July is only a week away! Here are some snapshots of an ideal summer for me...

Wishlist Wednesday

This wishlist is dedicated to my domestic goddess, that has yet to come out.  I have daydreams at work that when I get home I will actually want to clean the house, put everything in its own little spot, and worst of all iron. I do not iron unless it becomes an absolute necessity.  Anywhoooo…my daydreams lately have consisted of the organization kind and if I ever make it The Container Store {or a container department in Target} I hope my belongings will look similar to these.

Sorry, I have been MIA this week.  I had an amazing weekend with 2 of my besties visiting for the Memorial Day holiday...

Went to Hucapoo's last night and can say without a doubt for once the hype was actually true!

With of all of the rain Savannah has been experiencing lately I have been reading.  Yes, I finally caved and started The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy and let me just tell you the first one was a little racy for my blood but the plot of the second one had me enthralled and I finished it within 36 hours! Onto the third...

For the Love of Stripes

I have always been a fan of stripes.  They can dress up anything with the snap of a finger, whether it be a pillow on solid couch or chair or as a pop of interest in your wardrobe.  Cannes is in full force and seeing all of the pictures of everyone in their Parisian Chicness, I couldn't stop thinking of the quintessential Parisian look of stripes.  Since Bastille Day is right around the corner (I have little French in me, so celebrations are in order!) I wanted to share some of my favorite stripes at the moment...

While browsing on Etsy yesterday, I discovered Devon Baer.  How amazing is this tulip skirt?!  I'll take all three of these outfits please.

I don't know if y'all have gotten the "office environment" e-mail that has been circulating but it is absolutely adorable, hilarious, and true.  The two above are my favorites!

Off to enjoy my coffee and watch my new found favorite morning show, Good Morning America!  They get me a good mood first thing in the morning and I love them for it {as do my co-workers}.

Hoping for a weekend that is filled with this while celebrating my roommates going away...even though I will miss her terribly!!
